This website shall be used as a medium of communication to both the local and international business communities. In order to achieve our Vision "to become a modern and decentralized organisation by global standards" and Mission "to strengthern the private sector in Uganda". We have a committed and capable leadership, competent and well trained personnel, decentralised organisation with services close to the members, continuous membership growth and a strong financial base.

With Uganda still plagued by a fragmented and poorly developed domestic market and the inability to sufficiently take full advantage of regional integration efforts and international trade due to supply side constraints, limited market access, non tariff barriers such as quality and grading standards, phytosanitary regulations, market and other market distortions by our trade partners a lot needs to be done.

More support is required especially for the Small and Medium Enterprises which are the biggest employer of the Ugan- da population but rather lack the sound information and Best Business Practices to make them competitive especially in the era of regional integration.
